Privacy policy

This policy describes how SOCIOAMBIENTALES DM S.A. handles personal data: both the data received through this website and the data processed in the provision of its socio-environmental reporting and background check service. All processing is carried out in accordance with Argentine Personal Data Protection Law 25,326, its regulations and the provisions of the supervisory authority.

1. Data controller

The data controller is SOCIOAMBIENTALES DM S.A., domiciled in the Argentine Republic. For any question related to this policy or to the processing of your data, you can write to us at info@socio-ambientales.com.

2. Data processed by this website

This website collects only the data you provide voluntarily through the contact form: name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message. The purpose is a single one: to answer your inquiry and, where applicable, to manage the subsequent business relationship.

The form is intended for companies inquiring about our services. It does not request, and must not include, data about candidates or sensitive data about any person. Please do not include that kind of information in your message. If you choose to send your inquiry via WhatsApp, the message is sent through that platform and its own terms of service also apply.

3. Data processed by our service

In providing its service, Socioambientales DM processes personal data of job candidates, at the request of the hiring company. That processing is always carried out under these conditions:

• Informed consent of the data subject: the candidate gives free, express and informed consent before we begin any verification, and provides their documentation.
• Defined purpose: the data is processed exclusively to prepare the report requested within a hiring process, and is not used for any other purpose.
• Relevance: we verify only what is relevant to the position and what the law allows. We do not collect or report data the law prohibits inquiring into, such as political, religious or union-related opinions, or sexual orientation (Section 73 of the Argentine Employment Contract Law).
• Facts with sources: our reports contain verified facts, each with its source. We do not issue verdicts, scores or recommendations about the person.

4. Legal basis

The processing of personal data is grounded in Law 25,326: the data subject's consent (Section 5), the data quality principle — accurate, adequate and relevant data, not excessive in relation to the purpose — (Section 4) and the duty of confidentiality (Section 10).

5. Confidentiality and security

Everyone involved in the processing of data is bound by a duty of confidentiality, which survives the end of their relationship with the company. We adopt reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss and alteration. Data is not disclosed to third parties, with two exceptions: the delivery of the report to the company that requested it — in whose hiring process the candidate consented to take part — and cases where a legal obligation or a requirement from a competent authority so demands.

6. Retention periods

We keep data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Contact form data is kept while the inquiry and any resulting business relationship are being managed, or until you request its deletion. Data processed to prepare reports is kept for the period needed to comply with legal obligations and to answer for the service provided; once that period ends, the data is deleted or anonymized.

7. Rights of access, rectification and deletion

As the owner of your data, you have the right to request access to it, as well as its rectification, updating or deletion, under Sections 14 to 16 of Law 25,326. The right of access is free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless you demonstrate a legitimate interest.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@socio-ambientales.com, stating your request and providing proof of identity. We respond within the timeframes set by law.

8. Supervisory authority

The Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP), in its capacity as the supervisory body for Law 25,326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims filed by those whose rights are affected by a breach of the personal data protection rules in force. If you believe your rights have been affected, you have the right to file a claim with the AAIP.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect regulatory or operational changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
